Habiba Banu

Habiba is the co-founder of Spiro, a tuberculosis NGO dedicated to expanding community-based contact screening for TB, with a focus on children and on providing preventative treatment.

Habiba's experience includes working at non-profit 80,000 Hours where she advised on impactful career paths. She also previously worked as Senior Administrator at two Oxford University research centres during a period of growth and as a management consultant for government and non-profit clients. She studied Philosophy, Politics, Economics at Oxford University and is a qualified barrister. She signed The 10% Pledge and the Further Pledge in 2011 when first learning about Giving What We Can at University.
