Lorenzo Buonanno

Lorenzo is a full-stack software engineer at Giving What We Can, supporting product development and maintaining the technical infrastructure. Originally from Italy, Lorenzo was doing small-scale earning to give as a software developer in the Netherlands. After winning a donor lottery in 2022, he reflected a lot on how to do more good, so he quit his job to move back to Italy and help accelerate the growth of the Italian EA network. He is still surprised that giving effectively and significantly is not already a social norm. As hobbies, he enjoys biking, kayaking, playing chess and go, and spending way too much time on the EA Forum.
