On the 18th of May, I'll be running my first ever half marathon. It was pointed out to me that if I make a fundraiser, my silly little running might do some good for the world.
Considering this, the charity I've chosen is the Against Malaria Foundation. They provide malaria nets to those who need them in sub-Saharan Africa. Malaria kills over 600,000 people annually, mostly children under 5 in sub-Saharan Africa. Nets save lives, helping ensure people do not get bitten.
The Against Malaria Foundation has been thoroughly researched and has 'extremely strong' evidence of impact. In other words, money donated to them is guaranteed to alleviate human suffering.
Please give whatever you can and keep on rockin in the free world,
Tom

Bednets To Prevent Malaria
AMF's bed net programs protect people from malaria by distributing and ensuring the use of long-lasting insecticidal bednets in regions with the highest burden of malaria cases.
