Charity Entrepreneurship is a research and training programme that incubates multiple effective charities annually. Its Incubated Charities Fund provides seed grant funding for its most promising charities.
Charity Entrepreneurship has shared an update on how its incubated charities are doing now, and announced new charities from its recent incubation rounds. See also related discussion on the EA Forum.
To launch multiple new charities annually based on the principles of effective altruism, Charity Entrepreneurship goes through an extensive research process to identify high-impact, evidence-based ways to reduce suffering, then helps aspiring entrepreneurs launch these interventions via the cost-covered Incubation Program. You can see more details on their website.
This fundraiser was set up as part of the EA Forum Donation Election event, but it’s a normal fundraiser: donations to this fundraiser will be designated for Charity Entrepreneurship’s Incubated Charities Fund, not for the Donation Election Fund or anything else.
Please also note that donating to this fundraiser does not count as a vote for Charity Entrepreneurship’s Incubated Charities Fund in the Election (see more about how the Election works here.)
The Forum Team (or the Online Team at the Centre for Effective Altruism) runs the EA Forum, the EA Newsletter, and the EA Forum Digest, and works on some other projects. Find them on the EA Forum.
