Want to spend your summer working with one of the most impactful organizations in the world? Good news: Giving What We Can has opened applications for our Summer Internship program.
The Summer Internship is an amazing opportunity to work side by side with Giving What We Can staff, advancing projects that are critical to the success of the organization.
Previous Summer Interns have helped to develop our website, done in-depth and independent research, helped to start local chapters, and greatly improve our social media reach. Interns have played a central role in developing Giving What We Can, and we want you to be a part of this legacy.
The internship runs from June to August, but we are happy to be flexible to accommodate our top candidates. This is a particularly good opportunity for students and for recent graduates, but we are happy to receive applications from anyone who is interested in working alongside our team.
There is plenty of flexibility to adjust the role so it plays to your strengths and development aims. We make it our responsibility to ensure your time with us allows you to grow as much as possible, as well as just being lots of fun!
The scheme has proved very popular with our current interns, with a stimulating and dedicated atmosphere in the office and a lively and welcoming community outside office hours.

Now onto the brass-tacks: This is an unpaid internship, but successful applicants will be provided with lodgings in Oxford, and provided a small living stipend covering the time they are working with us. We should note that one of our biggest bottlenecks in accepting interns is our ability to provide accommodation and living stipends. Consequently your chances of being offered an internship are increased if you can secure your own funding and accommodations. We leave it up to our applicants to determine which method works best for them, but previous applicants have had success with scholarships and work-placement schemes.
