Matti Wilks

Dr. Matti Wilks is a lecturer (assistant professor) in Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. She brings a strong academic background with an expertise in moral behaviour to her role as a Giving What We Can UK trustee. Matti's research focuses on the psychological underpinnings of moral decision-making and behavior including research on facilitators of effective giving. She is passionate about using reseach-based approaches to encourage prosocial behaviour, including charitable giving.

Matti's diverse research experience, including positions at Yale University, Princeton University, and the University of Queensland, provides her with a global perspective on human behavior and decision-making processes.
