Patrick Allen

Patrick is a Finance Associate at Giving What We Can.

He previously worked as a Finance Associate at Impact Ops and as a Finance Analyst at the University of Buckingham.
Patrick holds a First Class degree in Philosophy from Durham University, where he wrote his dissertation on moral uncertainty.
He was drawn to effective giving after encountering Peter Singer's "Famine, Affluence, and Morality". One of his prize possessions is a copy of Sidgwick's Methods of Ethics signed by Peter Singer.
