Peter Cockhill

Peter is a former teacher, journalist, lawyer, and business owner with expertise in advising management boards and in serving as an executive managing and growing an international professional services firm. In addition to his commercial career which was largely focused on international alternative investment funds and corporate law, he has previously served as a trustee and chair of a charity to prevent and assist victims of child abuse and neglect and as a trustee of a public pension fund. Peter now dedicates his time to mentoring, volunteering, and contributing to the mission of effective philanthropy as a pledgor and trustee of Giving What We Can.
